Claims Process

A positive claims experience requires agent engagement, carrier partnership and clearly defined expectations. 

IIC is involved in every claim. We facilitate communication, advocate for our clients and expedite claim resolution. 

Our claims process is defined as follows: 

From initial notification of a claim to final closure, we manage the process on your behalf.  This includes reporting to the insurance carrier, facilitating communication and expediting results.
Expert Coverage Analysis +
Once a claim is reported, we dive into your policy.  If there is any possibility of a coverage dispute, we notify you immediately and explain it clearly.
Client Advocacy +
Claim disagreements and coverage issues take absolute precedence at IIC.  We participate in legal and loss control calls, negotiate coverage terms and advocate for our clients. When coverage is in question, there is no substitute for insurance proficiency.
Resolution +
Insurance claims cannot always be quickly resolved. Serious employee injuries, catastrophic property losses and liability lawsuits can cause ‘open’ claims through multiple policy terms. IIC remains engaged and methodically pushes toward closure.
